Since 2014, The Re-Thinking Tourism Symposium series is organised by the Research Unit for Architectural Typology and Design at the Faculty
of Architecture and Design at TU Vienna, Austria, lead by Prof. Tina Gregoric. The symposium aims
to establish a cross-disciplinary discussion on
the role of tourism in everyday life and seeks to define alternative ways of understanding its social, economic and environmental impact through critical spatial practice in specific contexts around the world.
